Gemdale Green Town is located in the South Lake District of Wuhan city, with a total investment of 1.5 billion RMB, site area of 497,900 square meters and total building areas over 700,000 square meters. It is comprised of mid-rise residential buildings, Garden apartments, townhouses and high-rise residential buildings. Construction of the first phase started in August of 2004.
Green Town occupies a precious location in the South Lake resort area, to the south of the famous Wuhan Institute of Technology and the new government center of Hongshan District and to the north of the South Lake Agricultural Science Development Area. It will lead the growth and development of this area. Green Town has international-standard German-style buildings and beautiful landscape. It is a large-scale residential development that is located in the sub-center of the city and combines urban civilization, natural environment and cultural lives. Green Town won the "2004 China Model Residential Buildings" award from Ministry of Construction.
