In January 1993, our company obtains the license for real estate business, and obtained the license to supervise the quality of construction work of our own buildings in August.

"Gemdale Corporation Company Culture Year Kick Off Ceremony" was held on May 9th. The theme of the year was "Improve our Capabilities", and the culture of the year was "openness, sharing and prosperity"

Dongguan Gemdale Real Estate Investment Co. Ltd was established on June 23rd, 2003.

Gemdale Wuhuan Real Estate Development Co. Ltd and Wuhan Gemdale Hongye Real Estate Development Co Ltd were established on June 21st, 2002.

In July, Gemdale was ranked No. 39 in the "50 Public Companies with Greatest Future Potentials in China" by China Securities Journal.

Gemdale Green Spring Dawn and Gemdale Green Spring, two residential development projects, officially started on December 6th, 2003.

Shuanglong Real Estate Trust & Investment Project was launched on December 10, 2003. The project is jointly initiated by Gemdale Corporation, Greentown Group and Hangzhou Tonghe Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd. The depositary, trustee and investment consultant are Kinghing Trust & Investment Co., Ltd., China Construction Bank Zhejiang Branch and Gemdale Corporation respectively.

On July 8 th , the Comprehensive Business Department of the National Engineering Research Center for Human Settlements held in Yizhuang-based Jin Jiang Fu Guo Hotel the Inspection Meeting of First Batch National Healthy Construction Pilot Project, in which the Gemdale Green Town Healthy Residential Quarter Pilot Project was inspected and passed.

Starting from August, Gemdale Home World Customer Club organized house owners and club members a campaign to donate for poverty-hit students in Qinghai named as "Love Upholds the Dream of Going to School", contributed some materials to poverty-hit students of Datong County, Qinghai Province, expressed the sense of social responsibility of Gemdale and the efforts made to add "social value".

From November 18 th to 19 th , the "Brand Value Management Forum" co-organized by 21st Century Herald and Interbrand (the founder of "Top 100 Global Brand Value"), the largest comprehensive brand consulting company, was pompously held in Shanghai International Conference Center, Gemdale President Zhang Huagang attended this forum together with representatives of more than 10 well-known homegrown or international companies like BMW, HSBC, IBM, Nike, GE, Microsoft, China Mobile President Zhang Huagang made a keynote speech entitled as Elevating Brand Value with Customer Value.

On November 20 th , Gemdale Green Town, the first project of Gemdale to enter into Wuhan and explore central China market, started to sell apartments under the attentions of numerous customers, over 1,500 customers competed for a little more than 400 apartments, and successfully ignited the zeal of Wuhan residents for home.

On December 3 rd , the CIHAF (CHINA International Housing and Archi-tech Fair) celebrated as "Olympic of China's Real Estate Industry" was held in SNIEC (Shanghai New International Exhibition Center). Gemdale debuted with the brand new philosophy of "building home with science". In this show, major residential quarters developed by Gemdale in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan and other cities were all presented and made quite a big stir.

On December 6 th , the first store of Gemdale House-Buying in 3 rd level market of Wuhan, Gemdale House-Buying Nanhu Store, was formally put into operation, which played the main rhythm of Gemdale House-Buying of interacting between 2 nd level and 3 rd level markets of Wuhan by the beautiful Nanhu Lake, signified the cross-regional expansion strategy of Gemdale House-Buying had made new breakthrough, formed Gemdale's integrated strategic layout in Wuhan real estate market which includes real estate development, scheming and agency, property management and broker service.

In the night of December 17 th , the celebration party for 10 th anniversary and 100 th issue of Gemdale Weekly was successfully held in the multi-functional hall at 5 th floor of Gemdale. Corporate Top Management Chairman Ling Ke, President Zhang Huagang, Chairman of Board of Trustees Chen Bi'an, Shu Xin, secretary general of Shenzhen Press Association, and Wang Hongyue, chief journalist of China Housing Market presented the party.

On December 24 th , Gemdale successfully issued more shares in A-share market, 109 institutional investors including nearly 70 funds, social security funds portfolio and QFIIs made purchase requests outside the market, with the effective number of shares requested reaching 3,468 million.

On December 30 th , the securities registration work of new shares issued was completed, and the number of shares of Gemdale grew from 270 million to 370 million. Approved by the Shanghai Stock Exchange, new shares issued this time was tradable in the market effective from January 6 th 2005.

Effective from December 25 th , Gemdale Green Spring Bank welcomed in the house owners of the first phase.

In the night of December 26 th , "Sound of Gemdale -- 2005 New Year Symphony Concert" brought by National Symphony Orchestra of Russia was played in Shenzhen Hall. This was a big holiday gift given by Gemdale "Home World" Customer Club to thank house owners across the country.

On December 30 th , Gemdale Shanghai Company conducted the agreement signing ceremony with Yunhu Group over the cooperation on "No. 418 Plot (Phase One) of Qingpu District, Shanghai".

In January, the first phase of Gemdale Homage Hill welcomed the house owners to move in.

At 3:00PM, January 15 th , the inaugurating ceremony of House Sales Center of Gemdale Vision Trip was held, executives of Pudong Development Group and Gemdale gathered together to celebrate the commencement of Gemdale Vision Trip Project on which the two groups joined hands to cooperate.

On February 4 th , the new logo system of Gemdale was formally put into use within the company. At the night of that day, HR Dept organized a ceremony to kick off the use of new logo, and more than 400 Gemdale employees witnessed this exhilarating historic moment.

On February 7 th , Gemdale successfully obtained the right to develop the No. 013 Plot 2004(auctioned), Junnan District, Tianjin City. Situated at Shuanggang Town, Junnan District, Tianjin, this project would cover an area of 377,333m 2 , with the floor area ratio not greater than 1.4. This land is limited to residential purpose.

In March, according to the last statistical data of Shenzhen Municipal Planning & Land Bureau, Gemdale Homage Hill of Gemdale (Shenzhen) Company ranked 4 th in Shenzhen and 2 nd in Futian District by sales revenue in 2004.

On April 8 th , Gemdale Tianjin Company was formally founded, registered as "Gemdale Tianjin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd", with registered capital of 28 million RMB.

On April 11 th , "Science Illustrates Residence -- Gemdale Brand New Image Launch and 2004 Performance Promotion Fair" campaign lasted for half a month, showed in Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai and Shenzhen respectively, Gemdale formally showed to the external world the Gemdale Brand New Image and the brand philosophy of "building home with science", and in the mean time introduced to visiting guests the excellent achievement Gemdale made in 2004. This is a key milestone of Gemdale Brand construction history.

On May 7 th , Pufa Gemdale Vision Trip, the most differentiated project in Shanghai real estate market, started to sell apartments pompously. 215 apartments were sold in the first day. It created a miracle in the stagnant Shanghai housing market.

On May 22 nd , "the No. 1 Explosion" highly focused by people of all walks of life, the demolition and explosion of old buildings of Shenzhen Yunong Village was completed smoothly. The total area of explosion of Yunong Village was up to 51,000m 2 . 16 tall buildings were exploded at one time, reaching the highest record in explosion area, scale and technical difficulty in China.

On July 5 th , the founding ceremony of Gemdale Tianjin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd was held in Renaissance Tianjin Hotel. Executives of business departments of Gemdale, Gemdale Beijing Company, Gemdale Property Management, Gemdale House-Buying, leaders of Junnan District Committee of CPC and Government of Tianjin, Junnan District Planning & Land Bureau , Junnan District Construction Commission, Shuanggang Town Government, and a good many mainstream media of Tianjin presented to congratulate.

In the morning of October 8 th , invited by the Business School, University of Columbia, U.S., Chairman Ling Ke made a keynote speech to nearly 100 EMBA students in Warren Hall. In his speech, Chairman Ling Ke elaborated on the status quo and development prospect of real estate market of China, operating mode of Chinese and American real estate developers, exploration and trial of Gemdale in real estate investment, and answered questions raised by students.

On October 21 st , Gemdale successfully obtained the Ningbo 4 th Bus Company project of Xincheng District, Yinzhou, Ningbo at Ningbo Planning and Land Bureau, and entered into the real estate market of Ningbo.

On December 5 th , Gemdale Beijing Company successfully obtained the C2 plot of Life Take-off Area, Majuqiao Town with 408 million RMB.

In the night of December 24 th , Gemdale house owners and Gemdale Home World Club members, nearly 1,500 persons in all, gathered at the central theatre of Splendid China of Shenzhen OCT (Oversea Chinese Town) to participate the "Gemdale Home World Gives Dream a Home" 2005 Customer Acknowledgement Party held by Gemdale Shenzhen Company.

By the end of December, Gemdale conducted the agreement signing ceremony with Jianxin Group over the cooperation on "Xi'an Zhijing Garden Plot", Gemdale successfully entered into Xi'an market. A new round of strategic expansion thought of the group showed initial effects.

On March 10 th , Gemdale Co., Ltd and China Construction Bank Co., Ltd entered into a strategic cooperative agreement with total credit of 3 billion RMB in Shenzhen Wuzhou Guest House. This is another nationwide headquarter bank level strategic agreement since the signing of 2 billion RMB strategic agreement entered into with Bank of Agriculture in September last year.

On March 18 th , 315 apartments of 3 mid-rise buildings released by Shanghai Gemdale Green World received heated response from over 700 customers. 303 apartments were sold in the day, with average transaction price of 6,639 RMB/m 2 , showing the prime days of Shanghai housing market one more time.

On March 27 th , Yin Zengtao, deputy secretary of Wuhan Committee of CPC, accompanied by Li Fusheng, secretary of Hongshan District Committee of CPC, Li Caifan, director of Construction Bureau of Hongshan District, and other leaders of relative governmental agencies of Hongshan District, visited the model project of Nanhu New Town, also known as Gemdale Green Town, with gusto. Li Ao, deputy general manager of Wuhan Company of Gemdale, and Fang Sen, marketing director of Gemdale, accompanied the guests to visit.

On May 6 th , Shanghai Gemdale Vision Trip Light Bay started to sell and 102 apartments were sold in the first two days. Altogether 812 apartments were sold eventually, reaching 910 million RMB. It set the average price benchmark of 9,327 in Dasanlin region, Pudong, and completed the annual sales goal of 80% more than 7 months ahead of schedule.

On May 17 th , the founding ceremony of the Tianjin Gemdale Green World, phase I, was pompously held in the construction field of Green World, Li Guowen, deputy secretary of Junnan District Committee of CPC, Gao Shusen, executive deputy chief of Junnan District, and leaders of Construction Commission of Junnan District, Housing Management Bureau of Junnan District, Shuanggang Town; Yang Weimin, president assistant of Gemdale, chairman of Beijing Company and Tianjin Company, Hao Yibin, general manager of Tianjin Company, presented the ceremony.

On May 28 th , Gemdale Mellon Town debuted with a stir in the long expectation of the market, Mellon Town Phase I provided 1,238 apartments, by the end of the first day, 1,000 apartments were sold, accounting for more than 80%, with the average transaction pricing creating a new high in the region, and the transaction volume creating a new high in similar properties in Shenzhen.
